Project Description

Parbat, 30 December 2025 - The Bhagya Bokne Jhola project has been successfully completed at Shree Matedewal Jansahyogi Secondary School in Parbat. A total of 100 students from the school benefited from the project. Under the initiative, students were provided with school bags, stationery materials, school uniforms, and sports materials.
The project was led by the Rotary Club of Kathmandu in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Balaju, Rotary Club of Gongabu, Rotary Club of Hetauda, Rotary Club of Kathmandu Circle, Rotary Club of Kathmandu Height, Rotary Club of Kathmandu Metro, Rotary Club of Matribhumi Baluwatar, Rotary Club of Patan, Rotary Club of Rajdhani, and Rotary Club of Tinkune Kathmandu.
Programs like Bhagya Bokne Jhola are especially important within Rotary as they support students from disadvantaged backgrounds and help reduce barriers to education. By providing essential learning materials and uniforms, such initiatives encourage regular school attendance, improve student motivation, and contribute to creating a supportive learning environment.
The program was held in the presence of Mr. Achyut Tiwari, Ward Chairperson of Phalewas Municipality–4, Mudikuwa, Parbat. President Rtn. Rajendra Gautam attended the program. The worth of the project was NRs. 215,750.
