Project Description
The newly built facility features two separate sanitation spaces, a traditional sanitary pad disposal system, and a handwashing station. This project will benefit 282 students and the local community by promoting better hygiene practices and creating a healthier learning environment.
Access to safe and private toilet facilities is vital to empowering girls, as it enables them to manage menstrual hygiene with dignity, reduces absenteeism, and ensures they can attend school with confidence and continuity.
Through this initiative, the Rotary Club of Kathmandu aims to improve school attendance among girls during their menstrual periods and help every student learn in a clean, safe, and respectful environment.
The project is worth of NRs. 450,000.
