Such programs hold great importance in Rotary as they reflect the organization’s core focus on basic education and literacy. By providing essential school materials and clothing, Rotary helps reduce barriers to education and encourages regular school attendance among underprivileged children. These small yet impactful acts of service foster dignity, motivation, and hope in young students while contributing to the broader goal of community development. Project Jhola exemplifies Rotary’s enduring spirit of “Service Above Self,” showing how collective effort and compassion can make a lasting difference in the lives of children and families in need.
