Project Description

The Rotary Club of Kathmandu, in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of Kathmandu, successfully conducted “Project Jhola” at Shree Aashigram Basic School in Dadeldhura on 28 November 2025. Through this initiative, students were provided with school bags, tracksuits and essential stationery materials, supporting their learning needs and helping create a more encouraging educational environment. Altogether, 100 students benefited from the project.
This program holds great importance for Rotary as it aligns with the organization’s focus on enhancing education and empowering young learners. By reducing basic barriers to schooling, Rotary helps students stay motivated and better prepared for their studies, while also strengthening community relationships and demonstrating Rotary’s ongoing commitment to service and long-term development. The worth of the project is 165,000.
