Project Description

The Rotary Club of Kathmandu organized a school bag distribution program at Shree Viniyak Saraswoti Basic School in Changunarayan-1, Saraswotikhel, Bhaktapur on 10 August, 2025. Conducted under Project Jhola, the initiative benefited 53 students worth NRs. 25,175 each receiving a new school bag to support their academic needs.
The program was honored by the presence of Mr. Season Karki, Chairman of Changunarayan Municipality-1, who served as the Chief Guest of the program. Similarly, the Guest of Honour was Rtn. Rajendra Gautam, President of Rotary Club of Kathmandu. Similarly, program was attended by President Elect, Prof. Dr. Pushpa Raj Sharma, Vice President Rtn. Prajun Khadka, Membership Dev. Chair Rtn. Khagendra Adhikari, Editor Rtn. Sudip Raj Khatiwada and Co-Chair-Service Project Committee Rtn. Pradip Khadka and Rtr. Rabindra Karki.
The Rotary Club of Kathmandu expresses its heartfelt appreciation to all supporting partners for their valuable contributions, which played a pivotal role in the successful execution of this project.
