Project Description

From 17th- 22nd September 2025, the Rotary Club of Kathmandu distributed educational scholarships to around 700 primary-level students of 8 different schools.

ii. Kalika Madhyamik Bidhyalaya, Pallo Rampur, Kamalamai-07, Sindhuli
iii. Shree Kamala Secondary School, Dhungrebas, Sindhuli

v. Sidda Prathamik Bidhyalaya,Kamalamai-05 Sindhuli
vi. Jana Chahana Prathamik Bidhyalay, Kamalamai-07 ,Sindhuli

viii. Shree Chunadevi Secondary School, Nagarkot,Changunarayan-06,Bhaktapur

The students received essential educational materials, including school bags, track suits, T-shirts, socks, shoes, and stationery items. The program was designed to motivate students, ease the financial burden on families, and encourage greater participation in school activities.
The distribution program was attended by RAWCS volunteers from Australia, alongside President Rajendra Gautam, Past President Suresh Man Singh, and Past President Achut Babu Ojha, Secretary Pravin Karki etc. This event reflects the club’s ongoing commitment to promoting education and supporting students in their learning journey. By providing vital resources, the initiative not only creates a conducive environment for learning but also builds confidence and encouragement among young learners.
The Rotary Club of Kathmandu remains dedicated to uplifting education in Nepal through impactful projects, ensuring that students are better equipped to pursue their academic aspirations. The project is worth of NRs. 2,240,000.
